Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.Sc. or equivalent) from a recognized university. Must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject and possess basic computer proficiency.
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): 18 – 37 years for Unreserved candidates. Age relaxation applicable for SC/BC/OBC (5 years) and PwBD (10 years) of Punjab.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 Marks (2 Hours Duration)
- General Knowledge (Objective): 50 Questions (50 Marks)
- English Composition (Objective): 20 Questions (20 Marks)
- English Composition (Subjective - Essay, Letter, Precis, Translation): 30 Marks
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for wrong objective answers.
- Qualifying Marks: 33% in each subject & 40% aggregate.
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Spreadsheet Test (10 marks) + English Typing Test (30 WPM).
